This is a great little hike to do if you are spending the weekend at Falcon Lake, and need to stretch your legs. Right at the beginning of the hike, you climb the ski hill, and then follow the signs for the High Lake trail. After about 800 meters, there will be a little sign on your right that says ‘Top of the World’. Follow this trail and you will come to a rocky cliff with a panoramic view of Falcon Lake.

After you take your pictures and enjoy the view, keep following the trail and it will loop back around to where you started on the High Lake trail. Then you can continue on and finish the High Lake trail if you have a couple more hours, or head back to the lodge if you want to keep it short and sweet.img_6409
